The main reason behind any country being democratic is that elections are held in the country at regular intervals and the participants who stand in those elections. They can stand unquestioningly. What we mean to say is that the contestants standing in the election are given equal opportunity. There is no discrimination in this and their representative is chosen by the people. There is no discrimination in that, every participant is considered to have an equal vote. Any participant can choose any party of his mind, there is no political pressure on him.
