Question: What is the difference between a pressure group and a political party?
The following are the differences between a pressure group and a political party:-
- A pressure group has no goal of joining any political party and no greed to take power of the country whereas political parties are motivated by many political goals that want to take control of the country.
- The purpose of a lobby group is limited, they do not stray from their purpose, while on the contrary, a political party has many purposes, such as social, political, economic, etc., there are many aspects of life.
- The political party is a very large organization that has thousands and thousands of members, whereas, in contrast, this is not the case for a pressure group.
