One of the ways I pursue my intellectual interests outside of school is by taking online courses on various topics that fascinate me. For example, I have completed courses on artificial intelligence, creative writing, and philosophy from reputable platforms such as Coursera, edX, and FutureLearn. These courses have helped me expand my knowledge, develop new skills, and explore different perspectives. Another way I engage in self-directed learning is by working on personal projects that challenge me and allow me to express myself. For instance, I have created a website where I share my original poems and stories, a chatbot that can generate jokes and trivia, and a video game that teaches basic programming concepts. These projects have not only been fun and rewarding, but also have given me the opportunity to apply what I learn from online courses and other sources. Additionally, I have participated in some summer programs that have enriched my intellectual life. Last summer, I attended a two-week camp on robotics and engineering at a local university, where I learned how to design, build, and program robots using Lego Mindstorms.
