How many elevators in the empire state building?
Question: How many elevators in the empire state building?
The Empire State Building has 73 elevators, including service elevators. The original 64 elevators, built by the Otis Elevator Company, in a central core and are of varying heights, with the longest of these elevators reaching from the lobby to the 80th floor. As originally built, there were four "express" elevators that connected the lobby, 80th floor, and several landings in between; the other 60 "local" elevators connected the landings with the floors above these intermediate landings.
