The channel refers to the medium or mode of communication that we use. The channel can be verbal (spoken or written words), nonverbal (body language, gestures, facial expressions), or mixed (a combination of verbal and nonverbal). The channel can affect the clarity, the richness, and the speed of the communication. For example, communicating face-to-face may allow for more immediate and nuanced feedback than communicating via email or text. The channel can also have advantages and disadvantages depending on the context and the purpose of the communication. For example, communicating via phone may be more convenient and efficient than communicating via letter, but it may also lack some of the emotional and visual cues that are present in face-to-face communication.

The feedback refers to the response or reaction that we receive from the other person or people involved in the communication. The feedback can be positive (encouraging, supportive, appreciative), negative (discouraging, critical, dismissive), or neutral (objective, factual, informative). The feedback can affect the quality, the effectiveness, and the satisfaction of the communication. For example, receiving positive feedback may motivate us to continue or improve our communication, while receiving negative feedback may discourage us or cause us to withdraw from the communication. The feedback can also help us to adjust our communication style and strategy according to the needs and preferences of the other person or people.

In conclusion, communication is a complex and dynamic process that involves many factors that can influence its outcome. By being aware of these factors and how they affect our communication, we can improve our communication skills and enhance our relationships.
